Why Nina Dobrev wasn't at the People's Choice Awards

Everyone was expecting Nina Dobrev last night at the awards because of her nomination for her role as Elena Gilbert on the Vampire Diaries. Sadly the show left with no wins this year but Nina was out celebrating her birthday over at a Dior dinner where she was seen with Nikki Reed and Anna Kendrick. 

It seems after Ian Somerhalder presented an award at the show he went to meet up with Nina at the party!

A cake was brought out for Nina to celebrate. It seems since the show did not receive any wins only the winners attended the show.
